Welcome to ArtinGlass Workshop –

where your journey into the creative world of fused glass begins.

Whether you've always wanted to try glass fusing or are simply looking for a fun and unique experience, our workshops are the perfect place to get started. No previous experience is required. We'll guide you through everything you need to know, including the different types of glass, colours, compatibility, cutting techniques and the fascinating fusing process.

​

Don't worry if you've never worked with glass before – we'll be with you every step of the way, offering plenty of guidance and encouragement. Before long, you'll be creating your very own handcrafted glass artwork to be proud of. Who knows... you might even catch the glass fusing bug!

Beginner Workshops

Our beginner workshops last approximately 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to learn the basics while creating a beautiful keepsake to take home.

• Duration: 2 hours

• Price: £30 per person

• All materials included

• Suitable for beginners

• Ages: 15 years and over

• Maximum of 3 participants per session to ensure everyone receives plenty of individual guidance and support.

During the workshop, you'll usually begin with a 10cm x 10cm glass tile, which you'll transform into your own unique "picture in glass". Every design is completely individual, making each finished piece a special reminder of your experience.

​

We've included a selection of photographs showing beginners' work before it was fired in the kiln, giving you an idea of what can be achieved during your first workshop.

​

After Your Workshop

Once your artwork is complete, it will be fired in the kiln to permanently fuse the glass together. As the firing and cooling process takes time, your finished piece will be ready for collection approximately 24 hours later.

​

If you're unable to collect your artwork, we're happy to post smaller pieces to UK addresses for an additional postage fee.
